5 Steps on How to Get Your Girlfriend Back
by clemie - Sunday, 20 January 2008, 05:05 PM
Anyone in the world

By Scott Patterson Breaking up with a woman is a hard thing for many guys to handle. While you want to move on, you probably still have strong feelings for this one particular woman. Now if you're constantly thinking of your ex-girlfriend, then pay close attention. In this article, I'll reveal my proven step-by-step system to help you get your girlfriend back. So if you're secretly pining for a lost love, then try to implement this technique into your life: Step 1- Analyze what went wrong Now the important thing to do before you try to get your girlfriend back is to take some time and think about what went wrong. For instance you should ask yourself: Is there another guy? Does she no longer like you in a romantic way? Has there been a dramatic change in her life? Are you doing certain things which drive her crazy? The reason why you ask these questions is to determine if things are fixable between you and your ex-girlfriend. If she's with another guy or was harsh about the break-up, then you probably have LITTLE chance of getting her back. So before you implement this system, you should first find out if you have a chance of succeeding. Step 2- Change yourself Once you've analyzed what went wrong, you need to make changes to your life. The main reason guys get dumped is due to a lack of attraction. So if you want to get her back, you must make subtle changes to yourself which demonstrates attractive qualities. Now the reason women want to date other guys is these men provide excitement in their lives. Without even knowing it, you probably developed a pattern of wussiness with your ex-girlfriend. In order to become an attractive to your ex-girlfriend, you need to develop attractive personalities. This includes manly characteristics like confidence, initiative, an interesting personality and determination. If you're able to show these core character traits, then you'll have the attractive personality which ALL women want. Step 3- Start dating other women It might seem counterintuitive, but dating other women is a great way to get a girlfriend back. Now it's hard to explain, but women have a crazy logic. They are highly attracted to guys who are "preselected" by other women. By dating other women, you'll be able to trigger her jealous reactions. Step 4- Become friends with her Now that you've made changes to yourself and started to date other women, you should contact your ex-girlfriend. When you talk to her, try hard to get her hang out with "as friends". This means grabbing coffee, catching a bit to eat or playing a quick game of pool. Once you're on this date, just act completely casual. In other words, don't try to convince her to get back with you. Instead just show confidence and amp up your role as a friend. Then every so often make an allusion to one of the women you're dating. Don't be overt about it, but non-chalantly mention that you're actively dating other women. Step 5- Proceed with normal attraction techniques Since you're now talking to your ex-girlfriend, you have an opportunity to demonstrate positive qualities. Instead of trying to rekindle things with her, I recommend that you show exactly how much fun you can provide her. So it's important that you treat her like you would with other girls. This means that you follow the basic attraction and seduction techniques which I recommend. For instance, you should be cocky/funny, show confidence and act like you don't care about the outcome of your interactions. If you do your job correctly, she'll start to realize that she's missing out on a golden opportunity. Once this happens, she'll start to pursue you! Being able to get a girlfriend back is hard for many guys to accomplish. But if you're smart enough follow these 5 simple steps, you'll dramatically increase your chances of getting her back into your life. Want to learn 50 different ways for meeting, approaching and attracting women? If so, take a look at Scott Patterson's Free eBook which provides 50 tips for instant dating success. The Secret To Protecting Your Business Assets
by clemie - Saturday, 19 January 2008, 06:28 PM
Anyone in the world

By Richard Chapo Regardless of the type of business you conduct, there is a
significant risk of being sued in our litigious society.
Lawsuits can range from claims of negligence to defective
products to disputes with employees. Incorporating is a
means of guarding against these potential threats. Single Incorporation - Protecting Your Personal Assets Incorporating your business is a method for creating a legal
wall between your personal assets and business. Any judgment
against your business will not impact your personal assets.
While your home, savings, stocks, etc., are protected, what
happens to your business? If a judgment is rendered against
your business, the business assets are as good as gone. This
doesnt have to be the case. Double Incorporation Strategy - Protect Your Business Assets Many businesses can benefit from pursuing a double
incorporation strategy. The strategy is designed to address
the situation where a business has significant assets that
are exposed to litigation risk. If you incorporate your
business, it is all well and good that your personal assets
are not at risk. But what if your business has a number of
high value assets such as manufacturing machinery, office
equipment, popular domain name, custom software or other
items? Merely incorporating your business will not protect
these assets because they are owned by the business entity.
Since a successful lawsuit would result in a judgment
against the business entity, all assets of the business
could be seized as part of the judgment. In short, you lose
your machinery, office equipment, intellectual property or
any other item of tangible value. The double incorporation
strategy prevents this scenario. As the name suggests, the double incorporation strategy
involves the creation of two business entities. The first is
your "at risk" business that interacts with your customers
or clients. The second entity, a "holding corporation", is
then created to own the valuable assets of your business.
This holding corporation then leases the relevant business
assets to your "at risk" entity. If the "at risk" entity is
sued, the holding company merely recovers its assets and the
plaintiff is forced to settle for pennies on the dollar
because the "at risk" entity has few assets. In essence, the
plaintiff wins the battle, but loses the war. Most people know that a business entity can be used to
create a protective shield for their personal assets. If
your business has high value assets, now you can use this
double incorporation strategy to protect those assets as
well. Richard Chapo is the lead attorney for the law firm

Information on the Willow - Family Salicaceae - Astringent Herb with Cooling Properties
by clemie - Wednesday, 16 January 2008, 05:06 PM
Anyone in the world

By Gerald Crawford Willow - Salix alba Willow information and how it is used as a herb in alternative herbal treatments to treat ailments and problems, such as to break and bring down fever, rheumatism, arthritis and gout. Although we believe in the therapeutic and healing properties of herbs, care must be taken in the use thereof, as they are powerful compounds. Botanical Classification: Family Salicaceae Genus and specie: Salix alba Other names: White Willow or osier. Description of the herb willow: This large tree with its deeply fissured bark and hanging branches are a well-known site in river and wetland areas. Parts used: The bark is normally used, although the leaves can also be used. Properties: It is a bitter, astringent herb with cooling properties, which relieves pain, lowers fever and reduces inflammation. It contains phenolic glycosides, such as salicylates (salicortin, salicin, tremulacin), syringin and triandrin, as well as phenolic acid (chlorogenic acid) and oligomeric proanthocyanidins. Therapeutic uses: Internal use: The bark and leaves are very effective to break and bring down minor fevers and colic. The bark is most helpful to treat rheumatism, arthritis and gout, as well as diarrhea and dysentery, headache and neuralgia. The pain relieving action as analgesic is due to the inhibition of prostaglandin synthesis by the salicin derivatives, which cause sensitization of peripheral pain receptors, and "natural aspirin" from the willow bark seems to have far less side effects than the synthetic aspirin made by pharmaceutical companies. External use: Willow bark extract has shown excellent results when dealing with acne and problem skin. This also works as a beta-hydroxy acid, and is included in various cosmetic products for this purpose. Aromatherapy and essential oil use: None noted. Safety precautions and warnings No parts of the willow should be used by people who are sensitive to aspirin (salicylates) although the natural aspirin contained in willow is deemed to be less irritating than synthetic aspirin. Guided Fly Fishing Trips
by clemie - Tuesday, 15 January 2008, 04:54 PM
Anyone in the world

By Ken Marlborough Fly fishing is a specific type of fishing where a synthetic fly is used as bait. The fly is attached to the hook and swung over the surface of the water to attract fish. Moving the fly correctly in order to entice a fish to bite is one of the more difficult activities involved in fishing. It is quite difficult to catch fish using flies, and fly fishing is an entirely different sport than standard fishing. There are two ways that a person can learn the skills and techniques needed to successfully fly fish. One option is to buy one of the many books that offers fly fishing instructions and advice. The advantage of books is that readers can learn at their own rate, focusing on particular techniques that seem particularly challenging. A major disadvantage to the books is that readers cannot watch someone else demonstrating the techniques. The other way to learn to fly fish is to take a guided fly fishing trip. A guided fly fishing trip features a trained guide who will teach participants the techniques needed to master this difficult activity. A guide teaches students what type of fly and rod to use and the techniques to this sport. People who go on guided fly fishing trips learn to assemble their tackle, make appropriate knots, release a fish so that it can live to the next catch, and the basics of casting. Fly fishing is rapidly becoming more popular, and it is easy to find a guided fly fishing trip for any experience level. It is a good idea to check the credentials of the guide in order to insure that the trip will be educational and fun. Be Cautious Of Websites Offering Free Ringtones
by clemie - Monday, 14 January 2008, 07:18 PM
Anyone in the world

By [http://ezinearticles.com/?expert=Ian_E._Wright]Ian E. Wright It seems everybody these days is talking about new cell phones from Motorola's RAZR to Samsung's new Blackjack to Apple's new iPhone (or whatever it will end being called). In addition to having the latest cell phones, people also seem to want to have the latest ringtones to go along with it. The problem is that buying and downloading ringtones is expensive with most websites and/or cell phone carriers charging $1 or more per download. If you download many ringtones I am sure you already know that it can quickly add up. Even for people who only occasionally download them it can still be a minor annoyance. So, some rather genius websites have sprung up recently that offer to combine two of people's favorite things: ringtones and free stuff. Thus, I am sure you have probably seen many websites offering free ringtones, but you are probably unsure if they are the real deal or not. Like most things in life that seem too good to be true, free ringtones are, but that does not mean all free ringtone offers are created equal. However, before I explain any farther I should clarify one very import point about ringtone deals offered in the United States. Due to recent legal cases in the US, most websites no longer use the term free, when advertising ringtone offers. Instead they will use the term bonus or complimentary ringtones instead. You should however be aware that any websites claiming to give "free ringtones", "bonus ringtones" or "complimentary ringtones" are all essentially offering the same thing. For the vast majority of these websites you will only be able to get your "free" ringtone" after you sing-up (often unknowingly) for some sort of subscription service for your cell phone. You will then be charged a monthly fee to get "free bonus content," most often more ringtones. In some cases these deals can actually be good for people who want to download a lot of ringtones to their phone. The problem is most people don't want or need to download 10 or 20 ringtones per month. Thus, you end paying for a service you don't need. There may be some good news though if you are looking to download free ringtones from the internet. Some of the services will give you a free trial period before they will start charging you. In theory then, you could download the ringtones and then cancel your service before you have paid a cent to the company. However, I would be extremely cautious if you try to do this because these companies are not known as being the most straightforward operators. I personally think it is a little too risky but if you want to try it you may be able to get a bunch of ringtones for free. Therefore, getting free ringtones is possible, at least in theory, but probably not a good idea in practice. Websites claiming to offer free, bonus or complimentary ringtones are more often than not misleading, since they try to get you to sign up for a monthly service you probably don't want without telling you explicitly. Exercise caution and you will save yourself many headaches in the long run. Ian Wright is a recent university graduate who knows the value of getting things for free. What Is Compost And Why Does My Garden Need It?
by clemie - Thursday, 10 January 2008, 07:12 PM
Anyone in the world

By Anthony Tripodi Some people think compost is a just a bunch of manure. Others think it's what happens to your body when you die and get buried, "My uncle Joe died last year and his body has been de-compostin' ever since." Compost is defined in the dictionary as "a mixture of decaying organic matter, as from leaves and manure, used to improve soil structure and provide nutrients." That's a great definition but it really doesn't tell the whole story. It should say, "Compost is the greatest thing ever!!!" Well the dictionary probably won't ever say that but I will. Compost is created when yard & food waste decomposes. Micro organisms & invertebrates (also known as little buggers) feed on the waste, live their brief lives, reproduce, die and then they become waste too. This repeating cycle is how the soil gets it's nutrients replenished. Like Mufasa said, "We all have our place in the circle of life." When it comes to compost, it 's just a very small circle. Compost will happen on it's own without any help from man. Look down at the ground in a dense forest. The leaves fall from the trees and decompose. This creates a rich soil that in turn feeds the trees. Compost just happens naturally and has been since the dawn of time. But man has figured out how to speed up the process. By mixing the right ratio of greens (grass clippings, coffee grinds, food waste, etc) with the right ratio of browns (leaves, hay, shredded newspapers, etc) and keeping the pile moist and well aerated you will create compost much quicker than nature. Are you still asking what's the big deal about compost? Add some of this stuff to your garden bed and you'll know. Your plants will grow bigger and healthier. Sure you could add fertilizers and get the same results, for now. You see synthetic fertilizers eventually break down and after a few years will leave the soil salty. At some point you won't be able to grow anything without lots of that fertilizer (they planned it that way to sell you more). It's like raising a crack baby at that point. Well maybe not that bad but you get the idea. Adding compost to the soil is creating healthy soil. You're doing what nature is already trying to do but your just doing it faster and more efficiently. Compost is not only great for your plants but it's great for your soil and even for the environment. They say that in the United States that 30% of all garbage is lawn and garden waste. Instead of putting those leaves and grass clippings out at the curb they could be composted. That would not only cut down on the space needed in land fills but it would make everyone's gardens grow bigger, healthier and less dependent on synthetic fertilizers. I've described the benefits of compost and hopefully you're ready to build or buy a compost bin and get started. Remember that nature is going to decompose your yard waste at it's own pace anyway. Why not lend a hand and speed up the process. Anthony Tripodi is the webmaster of WatchItRot.com - The Compost Guide. What is a Car Title Loan?
by clemie - Wednesday, 9 January 2008, 04:00 PM
Anyone in the world

By [http://ezinearticles.com/?expert=Jimmy_Sturo]Jimmy Sturo A car title loan is a loan that a bank gives to a client, using the client's car as collateral. The loan amount is almost equivalent to the market price of the car or vehicle. If the borrower fails to pay the loan, the bank confiscates the vehicle and resells it to cover the loan amount. The process of getting a car title loan is considerably easy and quick. It is a short-term loan, in which the repayment period is 14 days to a month. As the repayment period is very short, the interest rate charged on this loan is very high. Banks demand a written title loan agreement from the borrower at the time that the loan is granted. Borrowers are expected to read the entire contract very carefully and understand all the clauses before signing. All the terms and conditions are deemed understood by the borrower after the agreement is signed. These car title loans are available to almost anyone, who has a clear title of a paid off car. Documentary proof of income, identification and age are essential in order to take advantage of a title loan. Only individuals who are eighteen years of age are eligible for the loan. One of the most important factors of a car title loan is that a credit check is not done, so even borrowers with a bad credit history can take advantage of this type of loan. Thus car owners can easily apply for and receive a car title loan if they have fully paid for car at their disposal. These loans offer convenient ways of getting much-needed funds in an emergency situation. DVD for Builders - 4 Principles for Using DVD's in Trade Shows
by clemie - Tuesday, 8 January 2008, 06:53 PM
Anyone in the world

By Joe Large Keep these four principles in mind when using video in a trade show. If you follow these rules you will impress your visitors and have the best opportunity to convert prospects into clients. 1) Make sure that your DVD/video loops to your main action or message every 25-30 seconds. For example, if you have in-house designer that helps your clients, show that action occurring every 25-30 seconds. You want people walking the aisles to quickly see what benefit sets you apart. You do not have a lot of time, they are moving targets. You want that point to come up in your video quickly and consistently. 2) Use graphics, images extensively. Do not use your talking head to tell how great your companys products and services can be. Its boring and your video will look like big brother preaching the gospel to the people in the aisle. It looks tacky and amateurish, dont do it. Produce your video with the thought of drawing visitors in for your unique benefit. 3) Make sure your monitor is big enough. Your message is not only for the booth but will be projected out into the aisles of the show in that big convention center. While you dont want the monitor to take over the booth, I would look at 20 at least. 4) Be sure (yes I know Im tooting my own horn) to have DVD done well. Have editing and graphics done by a professional. Video cameras and equipment is inexpensive enough to get the images economically, just make sure all the editing and rendering is done by a professional. If not youre going to show a whole big room full of potential clients youre an amateur and you are cheap. There is one final strategy to keep in mind. Your video needs to paint the big picture and show one unique benefit. Don't try to have all the answers in your video and/or printed materials. Your goal is to start a dialogue with as many qualified visitors as possible. People that have an interest will want to ask questions. That is the first level of qualification, they are indeed interested. Giving all the answers prematurely takes away your chance at dialogue with visitors that may turn into clients. Relax, have fun and listen. Keep the dialogue going. Remember the video gives a message but you must explain and be relevant. That's the key in relationship selling for builders. Enjoy the show. The Agent interview: Strategy and Tactics
by clemie - Monday, 7 January 2008, 04:00 PM
Anyone in the world

By James Christensen Real estate brokers-in-charge are nearly always in the recruiting mode. If they have desk space available, many will take on anyone with a valid license and a desire to work. Some firms may require that you commit to a full time job in real estate, and not hold other jobs. Others have agents who work part time. A few allow agents to be associated with the firm, even if they don't work on a regular basis. This allows someone with a salesperson's license to remain on active status, rather than go inactive, since they are technically under the supervision of a broker. \ How To Select a Real Estate Firm Even if you think you know which real estate firm you wish to work for, we suggest you interview with several before you make the final decision. If you're not sure where to start, try these tips. 1. Which firm's For Sale signs are most common in the area you wish to work in? The firm with the most listings isn't necessarily the 'best' place for a new agent, but since they have a good presence in the local market it's certainly an agency you should talk with. 2. Pick up local real estate publications--the free magazines you see at supermarkets and other businesses. 3. Make a trip to the Chamber of Commerce--or a visitor's center if you have one. Which firms provide handouts for potential residents? Are there promotions for individual agents (most likely at their expense) or for the agency in general (which benefit all agents)? 4. What about television, radio, and other advertising. Do any agencies dominate those areas? 5. Do you know any local agents? Ask them which agencies they recommend (keeping in mind that real estate agents tend to be somewhat biased).
6. If you're in a small market, talk to them all.
Maintain Control of the Interview During most job interviews, you are in the position of convincing the interviewer you are the best person for the job. In real estate, the agent must interview the broker. The majority of real estate agents are independent contractors, not employees. That status gives us a fair amount of freedom, but it also means we are responsible for most of the expenses of doing business. You should know exactly what kinds of training and other benefits a firm offers before you accept a position. A successful real estate career is dependent on your desire to succeed, and your willingness to hang in there until things start to take off. Just how fast things start moving depends a lot on your work habits, but choosing the right agency can help jump-start the process.
What You Need to Know There are many things you should know before deciding which firm to associate yourself with. Training
What type of training is offered for new agents? If a broker's answer is 'none,' that agency is probably not the best place to begin a real estate career.
Does the firm have a designated trainer, perhaps the broker or another experienced agent who acts as a mentor for new agents?
If part of a franchise, are there local or regional training sessions for new agents? If so, who pays for the training?
How many new agents has the firm hired during the past year? How many of those agents are still with the firm? A revolving-door of agents alerts you that something isn't quite right.
Floor Duty
Sometimes creatively called 'Opportunity Duty,' it refers to times you are scheduled to work at the real estate office.
Are all agents scheduled for floor duty, and if so, how often?
Are phone leads, walk-in customers, and referrals given to the agents on duty when those leads come in? If not, how are they distributed?
Advertising
Advertising is a major expense for real estate agents, so anything the agency pays for is a plus.
Does the firm pay for the typical agency ad, where listings are showcased, or are you required to pay for the space occupied by your listings?
Does the firm pay for any portion of personal ads? (Ads designed to promote you, not your listings.)
What types of advertising does the firm do? For instance, newspaper, radio, television, Internet, for-sale publications, bulk mailings, chamber of commerce, and other promotions.
Does the firm have a bulk mail permit? (The expense of a bulk mailing is typically yours, but many firms pay the yearly permit feet.)
Computer Equipment, Digital Cameras, Other Tech Gear
Does the firm have computer equipment for all agents to use, or are you expected to bring your own to the office?
What types of software are loaded on office computers? Are all agents allowed to use the existing software?
Estimate your expenses and potential income
Commission Percentage and Payments
What commission rate do they offer? Are commissions paid on a sliding scale, with the percentage you earn increasing as you bring more income to the firm?
Are commissions paid immediately upon closing?
Does the firm pay a higher percentage for 'in house' transactions? (Where both the listing agent and selling agent work for the firm.)
If the firm is part of a franchise, what percentage of each commission earned is retained as a franchise fee?
Ask to review a sample commission settlement statement, so that you can see exactly how commissions are recorded and distributed.
Typical First-Year Income
When you ask the broker to give you an idea about an average first-year income, keep in mind that it is truly just an average.
Some agents come to the office every day, even if they aren't on duty. You'd be surprised how many leads they receive on those days, sometimes because the duty agents are on the telephone, or have left to show property to walk-in clients.
Other new agents only show up when they are scheduled for duty. Which type of agent do you think might have a higher first-year income?
Office Expenses
Who pays for long distance telephone calls made from the office?
How about stamps, photocopies, and basic office supplies?
Does the firm charge agents a flat monthly fee, or a percentage of certain expenses? Errors & Omissions Insurance Does the firm carry E&O Insurance for its agents, or are you expected to purchase this liability insurance yourself?
Multiple Listing Service Fees You may be required to join the local Multiple Listing Service to work for the firm. In some cases, you may need to join a second, or even third MLS office to work effectively in the community. Ask about the expenses associated with each membership. One final tip: Make a list of the questions above before your interview, and add any others you feel are important. Sure, you can change agencies if the first one doesn't work out, but that's a waste of time and money. Getting the answers to your questions before you start working helps you make the best choice the first time around! Written for http://www.e-realestatelicense.com

Enhance Your Garden With Flowering Trees
by clemie - Saturday, 5 January 2008, 02:21 PM
Anyone in the world

By Lee Dobbins Flowering trees can add beauty to your landscape and enhance your garden but when choosing trees you have a few things to consider. First of all, you want to be sure to select a tree whose height will be a good match for the spot you are putting it in. If you want a rather short tree to compliment a corner garden, then you won't want to choose one that grows to 50 feet tall. On the other hand, if you want a large tree to spruce up your front yard, a dwarf tree will be ... well ... dwarfed by the rest of the landscape. You'll also want to choose trees that thrive in your area and be aware of any pests or special maintenance. Your local garden center can help steer you in the right direction for maintenance and planting instructions. Here's some flowering trees you might want to consider: Flowering Cherry Trees There are several varieties of flowering cherry trees that grow from 12 feet to 50 feet tall. The Snow Fountain Flowering Cherry is great for smaller gardens and grows to only 12 feet in height. This tree has branches that droop to the ground with white flowers that bloom early in the season. A perfect tree to highlight a corner garden. The Pendula Weeping Japanese Flowering Cherry gets to about 20 feet in height and about 15 feet in width. It has pale pink flowers that bloom early in the season. The Kwanzan has in inverted cone shape and will get to about 30 feet tall X 20 feet wide. It has large pink flowers that bloom in mid season. The Kwanzan has orange foliage in fall. The Sargentii Flowering Cherry Tree is the tallest reaching 50 feet in height. It has pink flowers that bloom in clumps during the mid season. Flowering Dogwood Tree This is one of the most popular trees and has white flowers that bloom in spring. This tree, however is a bit picky about where you plant it and should be planted in a sheltered area, either on the side of the house or where it will be shaded by another tree. Flowering Peach Tree If you live in a Southern climate, then you are probably familier with this tree. This vase shaped tree grows to 25 feet and produces a lot of fruit. You must, however, plant it in the correct climate and soil. Avoid soil that is too wet or you will be disappointed with the outcome. Flowering Pear Tree The flowering pear tree can perk up any landscape and grows to about 45 feet producing lush yummy fruit as well as flowers.
