If you learn to read body language then misunderstandings can be rectified early on and you'll get an important insight into what the other person is thinking. Here are some of the things to look out for: If you see him leaning back in his chair, it's almost as if he's trying to get as far away from you as possible. The hidden meaning could be that he's trying to distance himself from what you are proposing; in other words he doesn't like your idea. If you see this, you need to immediately find out what is on his mind, so ask a question. Ask if he has any comments on what you've said so far and this will give you the chance to get him back on your side. If he has misunderstood something which has led him to switching off, then it's important you clarify the problem, correct it and move on If he has started supporting his head with his hands, it may be that he has lost interest in what you're saying. If you see this "loss-of-interest" signal, again ask a question such as "Do you have any queries so far?" Asking questions of someone who looks bored or left out, brings them back into the conversation and again gives you an opportunity to check their understanding of what you have covered The opposite of the "bored pose", is where he starts leaning towards you. This may indicate a high level of interest in what you have to say and shows you that you're on the right track. Spotting this will help improve your confidence even further Crossed arms and legs may indicate a negative feeling towards your proposal. Again, ask questions to uncover what the problem or concern is, so you can clear up any misunderstandings If he is maintaining a very "open" position i.e. arms apart, nodding in agreement, he is indicating that he's keen to know more about your project and so giving you the green light to carry on with your presentation If you see evidence of negative body language, ask questions to get him to express his feelings or thoughts. Such questions would be: "What do you think about what I've covered so far?"; "From what you've heard so far, what are your impressions?"; "Have I made myself clear?" Learn To Use Success-Based Words As a successful or potentially successful businessman, you do not want to be using the same dull words as the general masses. In line with your strong belief and confident talking style, you need to use words, which propel you above the average person and backup the belief you have in your success. Your words have to shout out that here is a successful person who knows what he wants! The words you use have to convey your enthusiasm and energy - these are success-based words - all of which is necessary to run a successful business. Success-based words are can do, will do phrases. You may be more likely to make a quality choice. Your attitude toward food is very important! Pattern of eating Do you drive the same way to work every day? Do you go to the same grocery store? Do you hang out with the same people most of the time? The same thing is true with your food. Chances are you eat at the same time, gobble up the same food types and in most cases, you take in roughly the same amount of food on a weekly basis? For most of us all we can do to just keep up with the days activities, much less cook in advance. It really boils down to time management. If you have good choices in the refrigerator, you will be more likely to eat that food. When healthy foods are unavailable, you will go out of your way to the pantry, pizza parlor, or fast food restaurant for immediate gratification. In a nut shell: In some instances what we eat, when we eat it and how much we eat is due to a physiological reaction. However, it could be both emotional and physiological. Eating right has a lot to do with how you look at food, how much you eat and what you eat. Recognize if you have eating patterns. Anyone in the world By Jeff Boyd If you're not familiar with push reel mowers or if you haven't used one since "back in the day", there are a few points you should be aware of before using a push reel mower: Don't expect to cut tall weeds or dandelions. You notice how your gas-powered mowers get a little "overwhelmed" when cutting weeds or very tall grass? Those issues are a bit worse with reel mowers because they become harder to push and they are limited in the height of what they can cut. When cutting with a power mower, you can tilt the mower in order to access hard-to-cut areas. That's not so with a reel mower, you can only cut grass below the cutting height bar. Don't cut wet grass. The wheels need traction in order to move the blades and if the wheels are slipping, especially if you're cutting taller grass or weeds, the mowing becomes that much more difficult.
So, in order to get the best use from your push reel mower, make sure you do the following: Keep your grass cut often enough so that it's manageable and easier to cut using the reel mower. Maintain a steady pace while cutting. If you keep pushing, stopping, then pushing again, it makes it more difficult to cut. Insure the area to be cut is free from "harsh" debris, such as rocks, thick branches, and of course: pet waste. When using the optional grass/leaf catcher, empty it often enough that pushing the mower doesn't become unmanageable.
